There are hours when the present gathers its shadow,
when the day feels heavy as a sky before rain
and the heart moves carefully beneath its weight.

In such moments the mind wanders through mist,
seeking a clear horizon
where the road bends out of sight
and the distance grows quiet and uncertain.

Yet no storm claims the sky forever.
Even the darkest clouds
are travelers of the wind,
arriving with thunder for a season
and departing with the returning light.

Where the Light Finds You [a poem]

Not every rising is announced by brilliance.
Some begin in reverent stillnessβ€”
in the inward yielding of the heart,

Transformation rarely declares itself.

as roots descend through stubborn earth,
as dawn prepares beyond the edge of sight,
